(Random pic from the last time I drove it to TN... The selective yellows are gone, and it has new corners/turn signals, as well. Also, look at that first-gen Prelude!)
I finally changed the heater blower on the 740. Remove two trim panels, the two screws that hold the ECU in, the three screws that hold the ECU bracket in, and then the three bolts that hold the fan in and it's out. Way, way better than doing it on a 240, where the process is: "Sell it and buy one with a working blower motor."
Also, because I had to be /that/ guy, I now have 100W HIDs in my high beams. (High only, because I'm not /that/ much of a dick to traffic.) I've also got a set of Bosch driving lights coming in to go on the front bumper. The plan is to mount them high, in front of the grille, and use them as auxiliaries, for when it's not quite clear enough to use the HID highs... Or, I could just shove HIDs in them, too. The lows are staying halogen, though.
Blurry potatocam pic of the lights
Less blurry, but with flash to show off the cracked windshield:

I have only heard horror stories about the 240 blower motor... P80 cars it takes 15 minutes... And most of that was spent fumbling with the bag of popcorn I brought. (What? I wanted to multitask)

The 740 is on the same level of ease as the P80... Maybe 20 minutes, and 10 of those is driving to the store so you can get the blower motor.
